So, one of my numerous sisters has decided to open her own hair salon - doing hairbraiding. I'm so proud of her. But she's a little confused. She wants to do braiding, weaving and fusion........ only thing is she doesn't know how to do the last two. She's decided that fusion is out, but she's learning weaving right now.
I have always been fascinated by the versatility of hair. In my 30+ years, I've worn my hair short, long, medium, natural with twists, natural with braids, permed, fusioned, weaved and bald. I've dyed it red, deep brown, honey blonde and jet black. My favorite was my big natural, healthy afro. Now, my hair is "just Sassy"!!!

I'm not sure I could live with my hair done like that.
I've done alot with my hair over the years too.
I was looking through some old pictures of myself, then I got up and walked, quite quickly mind you, to look in a mirror. Yup, pretty much the same. Long. Dark brown. Straight. Parted on the side. Sure, there have been variations, but not much! I decided I'd wait to color it until I no longer had a choice. I'm 35, pretty soon the gray will take over. Then, I've decided, I've got to get out of this rut! Funny, I've always really liked my hair. Then when I saw my first grade picture and it was the same it made me think! Have a great weekend! :)

My daughter wears fusions for a few weeks now, looking good. She prefers it over braids, says it's so much more comfortable. Guess it depends on the hair salon and who's running it, that Spears pic made me laugh though.
Wow! The girl got so cute extensions...
But she already had had such fabulous hair!
